Short desciption:
The device is connected to one of the direct analogue line of the telephone exchange. After receiving a telephone call the I.C.U. is switched on and replays the already recorded message to the caller. In this message it draws the attention of the caller that the telephone exchange is able to automatically connect the caller to one of the extensions without asking the operator. During and after the message the I.C.U. is waiting for the dialing of the extension number in ?TONE" mode /DTMF signal/. If it does not happen in the period preset, it forwards the call to the extension of the operator.
The device is suitable for a quick reach of e.g. a telefax by pushing the * and # buttons. In case the caller disconnects the line, it automatically goes back to the basic position and waits for the next call.
You can program all the sorts of parameters of the I.C.U. from an analogue phone, so you can even minimize the time of the connection.
